Brad Hand over to Washington in one year deal

The Nationals don't stop this off season in additions, most recently acquiring Brad Hand, a top reliever over the past few years, leading the league in saves in 2020 with 16. He signed to a one year, $10.5 million contract, also paying him $6.5 million throughout 2022 to 2024.

In the past Brad Hand has not had the most success in the postseason, most recently blowing a late lead to the Yankees. In the regular season however, he has been one of the best relievers in baseball, with a career 3.65 ERA and a 2.05 ERA in 2020. He has 105 saves in his career, and 624 strikeouts.

The Nationals have made a lot of great additions this off season, coming off of a disappointing season not making the playoffs just a season after a world series win.The additions they made might not keep up though, because a lot of the rest of the division has made many notable moves that should make them better than the Nationals.

If they can get the Brad Hand he has always been in the regular season and in the postseason, they should be a contender for a playoff spot in 2021.
